The Art Of Poll Njihia

Born in Kenya, Poll studied Art and Design majoring in Drawing and Painting at Buruburu Institute of Fine Art. Poll is a semi-impressionist Artist using mixed media and also a muralist. His work is also a fight between a culture that is diminishing but which he still holds dear to his heart . He has intensively exhibited his energetic color paintings in Australia, the Netherlands, North Ireland, England and in Kenya at Ramoma, National Museum of Kenya the Windsor’ and Karen Golf clubs. He has also received awards for his outstanding creativity.

ānāyā arts was born when Fiona finally stepped out of her comfort zone & faced her fears. There was something hidden behind the mindless doodling, the love for art class & the various sketchbooks. It was only until her 30's that Fiona was able to accept herself & accept that she was a natural born artist!

Fatuma Kou

Korlu Soriba who goes by the Pen name Fatuma Kou is a multifaceted artist that is known for her generosity and compassion. Born in Liberia, and raised in Canada. She draws inspiration from both connections, to her African heritage and Canadian home. Her passion is to encourage each and everyone of us to embrace the beauty of story telling, diversity and our own uniqueness. Every craft that she makes holds a deep meaning and tells many stories that resonate on an individual level with her audience.
